She pulled all the drapes and turned off all the lights.  Then she put spot lights or some of her other special lights around.  It was the best!  I wish I would have known what that she wanted me to play "nice" music and I woulda done a more practice on the piece I'm working on.  I thought she just wanted me to do my "trick" playing.  It was totally cool anyway!

The article was in the paper first thing this AM.  Bob Shaw did a great job getting in information about so many aspects of my music and background.

The story is on the front page of the section!  WOW!!  They put in a picture of me playing laying on my back and Gus sitting on my chest.  Gus often comes running and jumps up to sit by me when I play piano.  He even sits on the deck railing and looks in the window at me playing sometimes when I am outside.  He has me trained to go let him in the house when he does that!

I wrote some music while Mr Shaw and Ms Pinson were here.  They seemed to think that was pretty unusual.  It was fun.  I even got a few good segments.

I wrote some songs for them while they were here.  They seemed to think that was pretty unusual.  We talked about all kinds of things relating to my music, muscular dystrophy, school and just about everything.  When I was showing them my trick playing Gus (the cat) had to come and check things out.  He often comes runnning and jumps on the pinao bench and sits beside me when I play.  When he's outside he gets on the deck railing and watches me...sometimes he just wants me to let him in the house.  He has me pretty well trained!

I'm really excited that Bob is writing an article.  He even lives in Woodbury.  His kids took piano lessons too.

I was picked up at 11:30 by Chrisette in her stretch limo!  Wow, what a shock!  I about fell over but managed to stay "cool" haha.  My good friend, Austin, went with me to the lock up at Applebees.  I walked around and greeted most of the volunteers and thanked them for donating their time and raising money to help send kids to camp. 

The camp is the greatest!  I went to 1 day to hang out last summer and boy, all the campers love it there.  It is really a great thing.  The kids live all year long, just waiting to go to camp.  They play board games, wheel chair hockey, fish, swim,go boating and have a super time.  The cabins are big too so everybody can get around.

One of my mom's friends, Lee Sundet,  and his wife have donated a cabin,.  That was really impressive!

There were 95 campers at camp in summer 2010 and 105 volunteers.  The volunteers are with the campers 24/7 including sleeping in a bunk right next to their camper.  It is really amazing.  The volunteers come from all over and I know I heard of 1 from Ohio.

Got a chance to meet some of the students from the Community Outreach Class again and their teacher, Ms Theresa Von Ruden.  They are all really great! 

We found a great spot to take a group pictures by their huge lion mascot on the wall by one of the entrances.

This is such a neat class and they do great things to help others!
