My mom got a phone call from someone who wants me to play music for their Prom during the dinner part.  That sounds fun so I hope I can do it!

Went to The Mall of America on Sat AM to pack food for Feed My Starving Children.  It was great. The whole group packed over 41,000 meals.

Wow, thanks to Rob Olson and Tomoko Townsley for the great story on Fox 9 news tonight!  It was so well done.  I totally loved the idea Tomoko had to shoot part at MacPhail!

Wow, I got to play piano at MacPhail yesterday.  It was incredible.  The room had black drapes and black Yamaha piano which was awesome of course.  It was all the photographer, Tomoko's, idea.  It was the best. 
She pulled all the drapes and turned off all the lights.  Then she put spot lights or some of her other special lights around.  It was the best!  I wish I would have known what that she wanted me to play "nice" music and I woulda done a more practice on the piece I'm working on.  I thought she just wanted me to do my "trick" playing.  It was totally cool anyway!

Went to hear Barbara English sing at Mountain Mudd.  Barbara sings a mixture of oldies, pop and folk music.  She has a pretty soparano voice that is so easy to listen to.  She is also a great guitarist.  She also had Pat Huber, play electric guitar with her.  It was a fun night.
Mountain Mudd has 2 locations.  We were at the one in New Hope which is their new store.  Great music memorabilia.  Check it out sometime...http://www.mountainmudd.net/ The wraps are huge and tasty!
